Theatrical project “I Am Still Me”

Revived, Recreated and Rebuilt for Resilience

(2022-2023)

In 2023, MEHAR accomplished the project of Reviving, Rebuilding and Recreating our core theatrical project, “I Am Still Me. “ with the help of a grant received from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

• We engaged in rewriting the scripts for our theatrical skits on Schizophrenia, Depression and Bipolar Disorder to create a digital version for increased virtual access in situations like pandemic.
• We delivered an orientation session for 12 artists of our skits to create awareness and sensitivity towards the topic of our skits.
• We created digital versions of 3 skits .
• We also organized a live Theatrical presentation which was followed by our mental health expert.
